Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your AdaPet account and all associated data at any time. This page explains the in-app deletion flow, an email fallback if you no longer have the app installed, and exactly what data is removed versus retained for legal and safety reasons.

1. Delete Your Account From the AdaPet App

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the AdaPet mobile app:

  1. Open the AdaPet app and sign in if you are signed out.
  2. Tap the menu icon and open Pet Owner Profile.
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Tap Delete Account and confirm by tapping Delete Forever in the confirmation dialog.
  5. You will be signed out and returned to the Login screen once deletion completes.

The AdaPet app is available for iOS and Android. The in-app deletion path is available on every supported version released after May 2026.

2. Email Request (If You No Longer Have the App)

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, you can request deletion by emailing us at privacy@adapetmedical.com

Please include the email address associated with your AdaPet account so we can verify your identity. We will confirm deletion within seven business days. We may ask for additional verification before deleting an account by email.

3. What Is Deleted

When you complete the deletion flow we mark the following data as deleted on our servers and remove it on our retention schedule (typically within 30 days):

  • Your account profile (name, email, photo, contact details).
  • All pets registered to your account (names, photos, profile data).
  • All sensors paired to your account and their activation records.
  • All glucose readings, activity logs, and feeding entries for your pets.
  • Owner-side message history, support tickets, and subscription records linked to your account.

4. What May Be Retained

Some information may be retained after deletion for legal, safety, or fraud-prevention reasons:

  • Anonymized aggregate analytics that cannot be linked back to you.
  • Transaction records required by tax and consumer-protection law.
  • Logs needed to detect or investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

5. How Long Deletion Takes

Your account is signed out immediately and cannot be used to sign back in. Server-side data is removed on our retention schedule (typically within 30 days). Encrypted backups are overwritten on their regular rotation cycle, normally within 90 days.
