Adapet V Plus CGM for Pets Is Coming This January

Vancouver, BC — September 30, 2025. We’re excited to announce Adapet V Plus, our next-generation continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system for dogs and cats, will officially debut at VMX 2026 (January). V Plus keeps the proven 9-day wear you know—then raises the bar with a smaller sensor footprint, a shorter 4 mm electrode for improved tolerance, and lower MARD for greater clinical confidence.

What’s new in V Plus

  • Smaller size, better fit – A compact sensor (approx. Ø22 mm) that’s less obtrusive and less likely to be dislodged during daily activity.

  • 4 mm electrode (vs. 6.5 mm in Gen-1) – Shallower insertion designed to reduce local irritation and improve patient tolerance—especially in small-breed dogs, cats, and sensitive cases.

  • Higher accuracy – A lower MARD target to bring readings closer to reference values and enhance decision-making during insulin titration and follow-ups.

  • Same reliable wear – 9-day continuous data with updates every 3 minutes—no finger pricks and no scanning required.

  • Clinic-ready workflow – Real-time Bluetooth transmission plus event logging (meals, exercise, meds) and report features to support case reviews and client communication.

  • IPX7 water resistance – Added peace of mind for bathing and everyday splashes.

Availability & transition plan

  • Launch: V Plus will be unveiled at VMX 2026 (January) with North American availability opening in phases thereafter.

  • A1 supply: Our current A1 CGM will be available through December 2025.

  • Support: Adapet will continue to provide one full year of warranty and technical support for A1 units purchased before the supply cutoff.
